Year 4 Tesco Trip

21/9/2016

Year 4 have the exciting opportunity to go behind the scenes in Tesco, to gain an insight into the life of a supermarket, which is very different to the experience of shopping as a customer. We will touch, smell and taste different types of seasonal fruit and vegetables. They will learn about how food is preserved once it has been harvested and investigate seasonal produce such as chutneys. We will also get the chance to experience parts of the supermarket customers don’t usually get to see, such as the warehouse and chillers.
