This week in school…
Year 3 – have been working hard on how to write a narrative and have started writing them. They have also been learning how to solve addition and subtraction problems. They are now experts at identifying igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary rocks.
Year 4 – have been writing persuasive letters to Miss Digweed. In English, they have been looking at place value and using estimations to check their answers to calculations.
Year 5 – have been completing their own newspaper reports on Saxon Day and looking at Roman numerals in Maths.
Year 6 – have had another busy week! They have produced and recorded their own radio shows onto CDs, elected their House Captains (everyone who ran produced some fantastic speeches!) and have led the school in today’s sponsored work out.
