Welcome Miss Trainor and Thank You Miss Egerton

17/12/2015

The new class teacher for Primrose class is Miss Trainor who is very excited about starting at IVJS.

Miss Egerton joined us in September as a long term supply to replace Miss O’Neil and has been a great class teacher.   We would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to her for all her hard work and wish her well for her new life in Finland.

IVJS Weekly Bulletin - 11 December 2015

12/12/2015

This week in school…
Year 3 – have worked really hard rehearsing for Hosanna Rock and blew us all away with their amazing performances. They have also been writing formal letters about a terrible experience we have had at the movies.
Year 4 – have been learning about fractions, in particular adding and subtracting them. They also began to read Oliver Twist in preparation for writing a diary entry from his perspective.
Year 5 – have been learning about the local area and thinking about the improvements that could be made.
Year 6 – have been learning about the Mayan Creation Story and writing their own version.
