Welcome to The Iver Village Junior School.

The Iver Village Junior School is a happy, inclusive and ambitious school where every child is encouraged to believe in themselves, achieve their potential and succeed together with others. Set within a beautiful Victorian building that has been a school since 1897, we are proud of our rich history whilst continually looking ahead and preparing our pupils for the future.
At IVJS, children are at the heart of everything we do. We are fortunate to have a dedicated team of highly skilled teachers, an Inclusion Leader, support staff, office staff and governors who work together to provide the very best education and care for every child. We also benefit from a wonderfully supportive parent community who play an important role in school life.
We are proud of our inclusive approach and strive to ensure that every child feels valued, supported and able to flourish. Alongside our mainstream provision, we are proud to offer The Orchard, our Communication and Interaction SEN Unit, which provides specialist support for pupils with communication and interaction needs in a nurturing and structured environment.
Our curriculum is broad, ambitious and carefully designed to develop children's knowledge, skills and vocabulary across all subjects. We want our pupils to become confident learners, critical thinkers and responsible citizens who are well prepared for the next stage of their education and for life in modern Britain. Through exciting lessons, educational visits, enrichment opportunities and leadership roles, we inspire children to develop curiosity, resilience and a love of learning.
The wellbeing of our pupils is a fundamental priority. We work hard to create a nurturing environment where children feel safe, respected and supported. By developing confidence, independence and resilience, we help our pupils to manage challenges positively and grow into well-rounded young people.
Our school values of Consideration, Perseverance, Respect, Honesty, Commitment and Positivity are woven throughout every aspect of school life and help to shape the caring and respectful culture that visitors frequently comment upon.
We believe that learning extends beyond the classroom and are proud to offer a wide range of experiences including residential visits, educational trips, sporting opportunities, clubs and enrichment activities. These experiences help children develop confidence, teamwork, independence and cultural understanding while creating lasting memories.
The support of FISA (Friends of Iver Schools Association) plays a hugely important role in enhancing opportunities for our children. Through fundraising events and community activities, they help provide resources, experiences and opportunities that enrich school life for all pupils.
We are incredibly proud of our children and their achievements, both academically and personally. Their enthusiasm, kindness and positive attitudes make Iver Village Junior School a special place to learn and grow.
