Dear Parents/Guardians Covid Home School Agreement We are looking forward to welcoming your child back into school very soon. To keep everyone safe and to follow the government guidelines there are some clear points we all need to follow. School will look and feel very different from when your child left so please talk to them about what to expect before they return. I have attached a Home/School agreement detailing the expectations. If you are sending your child into school, then we will presume that you are in agreement with, and will follow, the points in the Home/School agreement. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the school office as soon as possible and we will do our best to help. Please remember that we are not able to allow any parent into the school building and ask that you observe social distancing rules when you drop off and pick up your child. I will be outside each morning to answer any questions and we will be checking the office emails each day. It will feel very strange not having as much contact with you as normal but I am sure we will get use to the ‘new normal’ very quickly! If your child, or anyone in your household, shows symptoms of COVID-19, you need to get tested and self-isolate as a family until the results are received. We will need you to let the school know the results as soon as possible via telephone. It is important that your child wears fresh, clean clothes each day and that you ensure that these are practical clothes so that they can participate in active PE lessons. Thank you for your continued support and please be assured that we will do everything we can to make the transition back into school as smooth as possible for your child. As you know your child is coming to the end of their time at primary school and will soon be beginning their secondary school career. In order to make this transition as smooth as possible, their secondary schools are requesting a range of information. Please see the attached template transition form for secondary schools within Buckinghamshire. If your child is not attending a secondary school in Buckinghamshire, the transition form may look slightly different, however, will gather similar information. With your permission, your child’s year 6 teacher will be completing these forms shortly and sending them directly to their secondary school. In addition, please confirm which secondary school has offered your child a place so we are able to confirm or update our records. Please email the year 6 class teacher with the following information from your email address stating that permission is given to send pupil information;
