Weekly Bulletin - 15 July 2016

15/7/2016

We have had such a busy year and this last half term has been particularly busy with Ofsted and a flood!!  We are very proud of all our pupils who have handled the challenges of the flood with real maturity.  County surveyors met with us yesterday and have said that the work will not be finished until at least the end of October.

Fagin's Boys

11/7/2016

Last week, the IVJS production of Fagin's Boys made its debut to rave reviews! All three performances were funny, engaging and showcased the incredible acting talents of our Year 6s and the beautiful voices
of the Year 5s who provided the chorus line to back up the show.

Well done to everyone who took part, everyone here at IVJS is so proud of all your hard work and effort, we all know each and every one of you will go far, regardless of what you do or where you go.

Weekly Bulletin - 8 July 2016

8/7/2016

This week in school…
Year 3 – have been using their investigation skills in Maths to see if the length of their legs determines how far they jump. They have also been learning about the different morals in Aesop’s Fables.
Year 4 – have been working extra hard on their P.E., gearing up for athletics. In class, they have been writing amazing descriptive narratives about a world with only one robot in it.
Year 5 – have become film reviewers and analysed The Lego Movie.
Year 6 – have had an amazing week with their Fagin’s Boys production, they were fantastic! They are now busy designing their own parks.
