Year 5 celebrated their new topic with 'Greek Day' yesterday which was a huge success. They started their journey to Ancient Greece by partaking in some of the popular Greek arts. They made beautiful masks, which they then wore to present their Greek myth theatre. After that, they were hungry for a snack, so everyone tried some Greek delicacies including pita bread, tzatziki, feta cheese and yogurt. They ended the day finishing their art projects - Kipling class made Greek Pots and Morpurgo class made Greek Lyres.
The year group had such a wonderful time, thank you to the wonderful Miss Ghedia and Miss Naulls for organising such a wonderful day! Comments are closed.
