![]() This Week In School… Year 3 – have continued writing their Just So stories from the perspective of the elephant from the Heavenly Elephant story. In Maths, they have been busy learning the compact method for addition and solving word problems. Year 4 – have been busy being newspaper journalists and have written stories about the trial of Noah Barleywater. In Maths, they have been working hard on multiplication and started multiplying some very complicated numbers! Well done Year 4! Year 5 – have been writing their information leaflet about EPCOT in Florida, Orlando. The children have spent time researching the theme park and using some fantastic persuasive language to convince the audience that it's the best place to be! In Maths, they have recapped their knowledge of multiplication and division - it's been great to see how much everyone remembers from Autumn 2! Year 6 – have been writing some great newspaper reports linked to their book, Rooftoppers. In Humanities, they have been learning about rivers of the world and alongside this, are looking at aspects of bridge engineering in DT. They are enjoying learning about the eye in Science and have been discovering how we see things. Comments are closed.
