Weekly Bulletin - 23rd June 2017
This Week In School…
Year 3 – have had great fun on Wednesday with Water Fun Day! Especially Miss Couves and Miss Trainor! In English, they have been writing explanation texts all about the human body and its function. In Maths, they have been practising formal methods of addition and subtraction and applying them to problems.
Year 4 – have had an amazing day for Water Fun Day too! Miss Bjorck and Miss Parveen thoroughly enjoyed getting the children with the water guns! In English, they have been writing fantastic playscripts for Jack and the Beanstalk and have done some work on multiplication and fractions in Maths.
Year 5 – have started to write an information leaflet about mountains. They have researched them and spent time learning about how plates collide and how the millions of tears create ranges.
Year 6 – have continued their amazing Go-Givers project, raising money and awareness of the charity First Touch. They are hoping to raise some money with today’s sponsored silence/sponsored run! The production gets better and better every time they practice!
