This Week In School…
Year 3 – have been consolidating their learning and revising multiplication and division in Maths. In English, they have been completing their non-chronological reports on Tobago.
Year 4 – have begun planning and writing an informal letter in the role of one of the characters from the text they are reading. In Maths, the children have been learning about decimals including how to round and order decimals.
Year 5 – have been trying an alternative ending to their story based on 'The Princess' Blankets' in English. In Maths, they have been using their reasoning skills to solve perimeter and word problems. In Geography, they have been looking at the features of a mountain.
Year 6 – have been working hard in rehearsals for their end of year production and it is gradually taking shape. They have also been very creative and have produced some lovely painted plant pots, into which they then each potted a plant ready for selling at the Summer Fair. The children have also had a fun sports day and inter-house athletics challenges.
