![]() This Week In School… Year 3 – have been working hard on comparing and ordering unit and non-unit fractions. In English, they have started reading a new book, The Lion and the Unicorn and other Hairy Tales, and have begun writing their own 'Just So' stories. Year 4 – have been looking at converting measurements in Maths, they have been converting millimetres into centimetres and centimetres to kilometres! In English, they have been introduced to their new Power of Reading book, The Miraculous Journey Of Edward Tulane. Year 5 – have started measuring and drawing angles which has been quite challenging for year 5. In English this week, they have designed and planned a leaflet on Disneyworld. In Geography, they are learning how to use an atlas and discover the world around us. Year 6 – have been starting their final preparations for the SATs in just a few week’s time. They have been looking at various aspects of maths and did their first 'Walking Talking Mock’ test in reading, which talks the children through how to answer specific types of question.
