![]() This Week In School… Year 3 – have been carrying out a survey and drawing graphs in Maths, looking at everyone’s favourite sports. In English, Year 3 have started their own narratives based on the myth of Thor and his Hammer. For science, they have been looking at the relationship between height and shoe size and looked at how buoyant different materials are! Year 4 – have been dividing one digit by ten and looking at tenths on a place value grid. In English, Year 4 have been retelling part of a story about Noah Barleywater stealing apples! As part of Science week, they looked at the Vitruvian Man to see if Leonardo Da Vinci’s theories were correct! Year 5 – have concluded with their retelling of a narrative about the 'Cyclops'. In Maths, Year 5 have been looking at converting fractions, decimals and percentages. They have also had a very exciting Science Week, one of the experiments was to investigate UV light emitted from the sun – they did this by creating bracelets with UV beads! Year 6 – have been working on decimals on a number line and dividing one and two digit numbers by 10 in Maths. In English, they have been writing a narrative based on the book Noah Barleywater Runs Away, they have focussed on punctuating direct speech and using expanded noun phrases. Comments are closed.
