This Week In School…
Year 3 – have started writing descriptive poems about a pebble in their pockets! They have also learnt all about similes, metaphors and onomatopoeia. In Maths, they have focused on understanding place value.
Year 4 – have revised place value including thousands and tens of thousands. In English, they have explored how the character feels and described his dream using a range of words including preposition phases.
Year 5 – have been looking at place value and how to round large numbers off. In English, they have finished writing a poem based on The Journey.
Year 6 – have completed their 11+ exams, well done to everyone! In English, they have been drafting exciting story openings. Also, they have celebrated Roald Dahl Day by creating their own versions of Revolting Rhymes!
