This Week In School… Year 3 – have had a very busy week doing their assessments! Miss Short and Miss Couves are very proud of just how hard everyone has worked this half term! They have also been looking at the continent of Europe for their Humanities topic and creating projects about a given country within it. In Maths, they have been practising times-tables and using the four operations. Year 4 – have been finishing their story from Varjak Paw in English and have been revising fact pairs in Maths. They have also been investigating dangerous volcanoes in their Humanities lessons. Year 4 have also been doing their end of term assessments, well done guys for getting through such a busy week! Year 5 – have rocked their assessments this week! As a treat, they solidified their knowledge of Ancient Greece by spending an afternoon watching various Greek films to learn more about the country and people of the time. Year 6 – have had a big focus on grammar, following their test week last week. The children have also been working hard to finish and publish their newspaper articles about an invasion of varmints! In Maths, they have been learning how to multiply fractions and mixed numbers. Comments are closed.
