This Week In School…
Year 3 – have focussed on applying their formal methods to real life situations including handling money and finding change in Maths. In English, they have finalised and published their information texts about the history of Earth. They are looking forward to working on their new text “The Iron Man” next week! Year 4 – have been revising multiplying and dividing by 10s, 100s and 1000s. They have solved reasoning problems and used the inverse to solve missing numbers. In English, they have written a narrative setting describing the character’s dream world. Year 5 – have completed their newspaper articles on refugees. In Maths, they have looked at additions and subtraction word problems. They even did a very exciting Science experiment to see the different reactions in the Mentos and Coke experiment. Year 6 – have either been away on PGL, where they have taken part in exciting activities such as climbing telegraph poles, flying across a trapeze, zip-lining, orienteering, and swinging on a giant swing, or here in Iver! The children who stayed here local have also had a great week taking part in crafting activities, going on trips to Bekonscot Model Village and Wingrove Farm where they picked vegetables and work experience where all the children helped throughout the school. All the teachers found their help extremely valuable! Click here to for this week's bulletin. Comments are closed.
