This Week In School… Year 3 – have been writing Gregory Cool's biography from researching the book Gregory Cool. In Maths, they have been revising all the concepts taught in Maths throughout the year, concentrating mainly on time and roman numerals. Year 4 – have been working on their creature poems in English. In Maths, they have been applying their understanding of money to reasoning problems. They have also continued to build their bug hotels in DT/Science. Year 5 – have been growing their brains this week in Maths when investigating percentages and fractions of amounts. In English, they having been finishing off their news script which we will perform in class next week. Year 6 – have finally performed their production of Cinderella Rockerfella for the rest of the school (and Year 2 children from the Infant School) as well as the first performance for parents on Tuesday afternoon - which was great! Well done Year 6. Everyone is looking forward to the final performance next Wednesday evening. The children have also been undertaking some transition work in preparation for their move to secondary school and have started working on their Leavers' assembly, still lots going on in Year 6!
