This week in school…
Year 3 – have created amazing play scripts with excellent detail and stage direction. Alongside this, they are learning about what makes up the U.K and just how the Union Jack was formed. In Science, they have been investigating what helps plants grow the best. Year 4 – have been learning about fractions, finding fractions of amounts and ordering hundredths in Maths. In English, they have written a narrative with familiar settings and characters. They have also been writing their very own Horrid Henry stories, they are so good! Year 5 – have been writing their instructions about how to make delicious chocolate biscuits! They have focused on using temporal conjunctions, imperative verbs and wow adverbs! In Maths, they have been looking at equivalent fractions. Year 6 – have returned to their first full week back full of enthusiasm and energy for the new year. This week, they have been writing some awe-inspiring descriptive stories and learned all about the Water-Cycle. A lovely start to the new term. Click here for this week's bulletin.
