Rights Respecting Schools – Article 12
This month the article from the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child is Article 12. ‘Your right to say what you think in all matters affecting you, and to have your views taken seriously.’ This right gives all children the opportunity to express how they feel and these views are taken seriously by the adults around them. At Iver Village Junior School we take everyone’s views really seriously and always try to listen to anything which is important to you. We love hearing about what your views are! If you have any new ideas then please talk to your class council representative. By listening to each other we can create a place where everyone feels involved and valued.
