IVJS Weekly Bulletin - 2 October 2015
This week in school…
Year 3 – have written some amazing stories using a character from a book they read and a new setting. They came up with so many different and exciting stories! They have also started learning about the different skeletons that animals have.
Year 4 – have read a folk story called ‘The Tiger Child’ and have been retelling the story and creating their own folk tales. In Maths, they have looked at a variety of methods to solve multiplication problems. They have continued to study the digestive system in Science.
Year 5 – have been learning about how to write a non-chronological report and will be completing their own reports on castles next week.
Year 6 – half have been at PGL and the children who stayed at school learnt about Britain through the decades of the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. They ended the week with an X Factor showcase!
