Donaldson Swimming Lessons

Donaldson class (Year 4) will be participating in swimming lessons next term. Swimming lessons are held at The Chalfont Leisure Centre on Fridays and transport is provided to and from the pool. Swimming will start on Friday 3rd May 2019. Mr Hawkes and Miss O’Connell will be supporting the children whilst they are swimming. All dates are below:

• Friday 7th June
• Friday 14th June
• Friday 21st June
• Friday 28th June
• Friday 5th July

Your child will need to bring a swimming costume and a towel to school each Friday. Boys must wear swimming trunks (not shorts) and girls must wear a one piece costume. All pupils are required to wear a swim hat. Children are allowed to wear swimming goggles as long as we receive your consent (please see separate letter). Parents should be aware that the pool authorities forbid the wearing of earrings. If your child has a verruca, they will still be expected to attend swimming but they must wear a verruca sock
