This week's brainiac awards have been handed out for great effort in handwriting, demonstrating outstanding behaviour and even keeping a whole class going through a tough week! Awesome work everyone.
Next week you will sit your SATs tests for Maths, Reading, Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling. We wanted to let you know just how hard you have all worked this year to get to this point and we wanted to personally thank you for all your efforts and resilience.

This Week In School…
Year 3 – have put their researching caps on and found out lots of new facts about animals from Animal Edutainment Day. From this, they have written super reports! In Maths, they are learning about angles and how to measure them. Year 4 –have started to write a story ending by watching a video clip. They are using amazing adjectives and suspense in their narratives. In Maths, they have been looking at the angle family and measuring angles using a protractor. In DT, they have been trying some yummy seasonal vegetables! Year 5 – have had a busy week! Daffodil class had their Safari Class Assembly and went through the curriculum. In English, they have started writing a biography on Sir Edmund Hilary and in Maths they have looked at 3D shapes and investigated the properties of these shapes. Year 6 – have been focusing on the main principles of spelling, punctuation and grammar in preparation for their SATs tests next week! They have also begun writing some great poems based on their experiences of animal Edutainment. Click here for this week's bulletin. |
