Year 6 took part in a fantastic coding challenge run by Heathrow. They learnt a little bit about Heathrow Airport and about all the different types of cargo that goes through the airport. Following on from this, they had an opportunity to use coding on laptops to move imaginary cargo trains from one part of the airport to another, telling the trains which way to turn and how far to travel. Some of them even managed to get their trains to talk to each other! It was a great morning and we are very grateful to Heathrow for providing this exciting technology event.
