![]() This Week In School… Year 3 – have been learning about the properties of 2D and 3D shapes in Maths. They have also started to explore perimeter, finding the perimeters of rectangles. In English, they have started to retell the story of the Heavenly Elephant from a different perspective. Year 4 – have learnt about statistics and handling data in Maths. They have also learnt to draw and interpret both line graphs and bar charts. In English, they have begun to write a continuation of the adventures of Edward Tulane. Year 5 – have been learning about translation and rotation of shapes in Maths. In English, they have begun to write a newspaper article about a missing spaceship based on their class reader. They have also been planning routes using co-ordinates in Humanities. Year 6 – have been sitting their SATs. They have started each day with breakfast in the Diner, enjoying their teachers serving them! We are so proud of them all and of the effort they have put in working towards the tests - well done Year 6! Comments are closed.
