![]() This Week In School… Year 3 – have written a message in a bottle using the Oliver and the Seawigs book and it’s characters. In Maths, they have been revising addition and subtraction methods. They have also worked hard in Art to complete a fantastic Monet display using all their artwork this term. Year 4 – have been writing a narrative poem about Arthur's journey to Asgard in English. In Maths, they have been focusing on decimals, transferring their skills and applying their knowledge to money based word problems. In Humanities, they had a great time cooking and eating a Moroccan Harira soup! Meanwhile, in Science, they have been learning all about the water cycle and producing a piece of cross-curricular writing in the form of a diary entry. Year 5 – have been learning about the link between fractions and decimal numbers in Maths. In History, they have been creating a leaflet about everything they have learnt in their Ancient Greeks topic. In English, they have been creating a newspaper report on Usain Bolt’s Career and how AJ ran at the Olympic stadium. Year 6 – have been working really hard during their mock SATs week to apply the skills that they have learnt over the past term.
