Parent/Guardian Class Reps

​From September 2019, we would like to introduce the role of Parent/Guardian Class Rep at IVJS.  It will be an important, rewarding role which will have significant benefits for pupils, parents and teachers alike. 
 
The Role of a Parent/Guardian Class Rep will include: informing parents of upcoming events, sharing parents’ views with school staff, suggestions and organising help for the Christmas Fair, Summer Fair and other school events.  As class rep, you will provide useful feedback to class parents and communicate feedback from parents to the class teacher.  You will be the main point of contact between the parents and the teacher. As the year progresses, we hope that this role can grow and we welcome any suggestions or feedback on how best to develop it.
 
We hope that Parent/Guardian Class Reps will help build a sense of community among the class parents and develop a strong, respectful link between the parents and the school. We are very excited for the opportunity to develop this role and improve communication across the school. We hope that this will continue to develop increasingly positive relationships between parents and the school so that we can work in the best interest of all pupils.
