Year 6 Clean Air Day Activity
This year, as part of Clean Air Day 2019, our year 6 pupils have the opportunity to record their lung capacity. Our friends at Heathrow are helping us to raise awareness of the importance of clean air and will be supplying disposable peak flow equipment for each child to use. The activity will require your child to blow into the equipment.
The data recorded will only be used by year 6 as part of their Science topic; they will be able to investigate if there is a correlation between a person’s height and their lung capacity. Heathrow will not be collecting the data.
If you do not want your child to take part in this exercise, please fill in the attached slip and they will be withdrawn from the activity. If you are happy for your child to join in with the activity you do not need to fill in the letter
