![]() This Week In School… Year 3 – have worked hard learning about angles and turns. In English, they have been busy writing a non-chronological report about Tobago using their new book for this term - Gregory Cool. Year 4 – have begun reading their new text 'Mouse Bird Snake Wolf' by David Almond and have started writing a balanced argument in English. In Maths, they have revised their understanding of 'Time' including calendar facts and converting from analogue to digital. Year 5 – have been working hard learning about measurements and converting them too! In English, they have started planning their poem based on their new half term book called 'The Princess' Blankets'. We have also been learning about mountains and mountain ranges in Humanities. Year 6 – have been writing some fantastic fantasy stories about a dragon slayer - their writing has really improved over the year and we are looking forward to reading the final stories. The children have also started rehearsing their end of year production and provided a great afternoon tea for local senior citizens as part of their Community Card scheme. So many of the guests commented on how polite and friendly the children were and we are very proud of them all! Comments are closed.
