This Week In School… Year 3 – have been working hard to find the perimeter of shapes in Maths and in English, they have completed their diary entries using the Iron Man story. Year 4 – have been looking at the character of Holly from Varjak Paw and have begun planning a narrative told from her perspective. In Maths, they have been looking at the measurements of length, converting millimetres, centimetres and metres into each other, they have also begun looking at perimeter. This week has also seen Year 4 putting the final touches to the Lower School Christmas production. It's looking really good even if we do say so ourselves! Year 5 – have been learning how to multiply by two digit numbers in Maths and writing diary entries in English. They have also been making Greek pots and Morpurgo Class performed their class assembly about their class author, Michael Morpurgo. Year 6 – have been beavering away creating Christmas themed merchandise to sell at the FISA Christmas fayre tomorrow, please come over to upper school to see what we have created! In lessons, they have continued learning about fractions in Maths and have started a new Power of Reading text called Varmints, which they are enjoying immensely. Comments are closed.
