![]() This Week In School… Year 3 – have been working really hard this week on their assessments in both Maths and English. They have also completed their final art piece based on the works of William Morris by using printing blocks. Year 4 – have worked very hard this week on their assessments in both Maths and English. They have also been very busy publishing their best pieces of English work for display. In RE, they have used the knowledge they have learnt this term about different places of worship to create their own religious building. They feature iconic features or Christianity, Sikhism, Islam and Buddhism. In PSHE, they have assessing the best ways to prevent the spread of infection, especially the spread of flu. Year 5 – have been learning how to read timetables and how create their own graphs in Maths. In English, they have been writing their own narratives based on the mythical creature the Kraken while in Science, they have focused on different methods of separating materials. Year 6 – have been busy completing lots of work for the half term. In English, they have learnt about features of a play script and have been turning part of the Last Wild story into a script. In Humanities, the children have been finding out about the culture of Brazil and in Science they have been looking at how humans have evolved. The children have looked at the different types of creation stories in RE and have specifically looked at the Finnish and Maori creation stories. Comments are closed.
