![]() This Week In School… Year 3 – have been finding the perimeter of squares, other quadrilaterals and regular polygons. In English, they have continued writing their story about The Heavenly Elephant. They have also continued writing and retelling the story of the Heavenly Elephant from the perspective of the Elephant. Year 4 – have been looking at time, they have been reading analogue and digital clocks and converting 12-hour time to 24-hour time. In English, they have completed their narratives for the next chapter of Edward Tulane. Year 5 – have been learning about metric and imperial measurements in Maths. In English, they have finished their newspaper article about the missing spaceship. In Humanities, they have been looking at how land use changes over time. Year 6 – have had a fun science day to mark the end of SATs week last Friday, now Year 6 are back to working hard on their writing this week. They have been writing their own poems about Spring at IVJS and have impressed us with some of the great imagery they have been using. We also held auditions for parts in this year's end of term production and we were amazed by some of the singing and acting ability of the children. Comments are closed.
