This week in school…
Year 3 – have been writing amazing diary entries about the great fire of London in English. In Maths, they have looked at telling the time on analogue clocks. Year 4 – have been retelling the story ‘Wing’ in their own words. They have learnt how to create suspense using an eerie setting description. In Maths, they have been learning about decimals and have rounded to the nearest whole number. They have also begun their history topic on the English Monarchy by writing to the Queen! Year 5 – have had a super scientific day at the Science Museum on Tuesday. They visited the Imax to see ‘Hidden Universe’ and experimented in the Wonderlab. In English, they have started their new topic, writing the next chapter in Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator. Year 6 – have worked on their persuasive writing, focusing on writing letters to their crayons who have gone on strike! They have used the story from ‘The Day the Crayons Quit’. Their work shows what fantastic authors Year 6 are! Click here to view this week's bulletin. Comments are closed.
