This Week In School…
Year 3 – have continued writing newspaper reports in English about the Iron Man's battle with the bat winged angel dragon using the story of the Iron Man. In Maths, they have been looking at units of measurement.
Year 4 – have been working on their Christmas production in their costumes! In Maths, they have been using bar models to represent multiplication calculations. They have read further into the book Varjak Paw and begun writing an event in the story from a different perspective.
Year 5 – have finished their story about the 'Last Sandwich' in English and have included some plot twists. In Maths, they have looked at line graphs, as well as how to draw them while in Science, they have conducted research to observe the best material for thermal insulators.
Year 6 – have been continuing to enjoy their book, The Last Wild and have started to write newspaper reports linked to this story. In Maths, they have been multiplying fractions and mixed numbers and are looking forward to moving on to dividing fractions next week.
