This Week In School…
Year 3 – have finished their excellent stories about the never ending battle of Rock, Paper, Scissors. Alongside this, they have been looking at perimeter and area and have even designed their own playground. They have been very active practising for sports day! Year 4 – have been compiling all the facts that they have learnt in their Humanities topic on volcanoes into a report. In Maths, they have been reading and plotting coordinates and then using this understanding to translate shapes. Year 5 – have been producing a narration for a short film using emotive and powerful language. They have also spent a day designing and researching their own biscuit product. Year 6 – have written some powerfully descriptive fantasy stories, their writing just gets better and better! In Maths, they have studied tessellation and the mathematical degree of spirals.
