![]() This Week In School… Year 3 – have finished writing their letters to the princess about the singing ringing tree. In Maths, they have worked on applying formal methods for calculations to a range of problems. Year 4 – have been finishing off writing biographies in English. In Maths, they have learnt about translation, coordinates and the properties of 2D shapes. Year 5 – have completed their persuasive argument based on their reading book in English. In Maths, they have done some exciting things with shapes and polygons including creating their own 3D models. In Science, they have been observing their sunflower seeds developing and have done research on the potato plant. Humanities has proven to be interesting as they are learning about co-ordinates and using maps. Year 6 – have spent a busy week doing their final preparations for their SATs next week. They are working really hard in reading, grammar and maths - nearly there now Year 6! They also had a visit from a community police officer on Wednesday, as part of their community cards project in PSHE. Comments are closed.
