This week, IVJS played a home league game against Chalfont St Giles. This game was rearranged from their game in March which was postponed due to the weather. The game kicked off slightly later than normal due to the distance between the two schools. The first half saw IVJS under a lot of pressure but with multiple good saves from Hassan, IVJS only went in 1-0 down at half time.
In the second half, IVJS livened up and had multiple chances before Ronnie scored directly from a corner to make it 1-1. Chalfont, however restored their lead within a minute before Tino tapped in another home goal to make it 2-2 with only a couple of minutes left to play. The game then became stretched with both teams trying to win the game. Chalfont however scored with the last kick of the game, unfortunately giving them the 2-3 win. What a game! It was incredibly tight and everyone played in the right spirit all the way through the game. Man of the match went to Harley. Comments are closed.
