IVJS Sports Day 2024

18/6/2024

Dear Parents/Guardians,

We are excited to announce that our annual Sports Day will be held on Friday, July 5th. This is always a fun and engaging event for our pupils, and we look forward to seeing you there. Here are some important details and housekeeping rules to ensure the day runs smoothly:
Event Details:
  • Date: Friday, July 5th
  • Gates open to Parents: 12:55pm
  • Start Time: 1:00 pm - 1:15pm
  • End Time: 2:30 pm - 2:45pm
Housekeeping Rules:
  1. Collection of Children: At the end of the event children will be taken back into class and then dismissed from the usual place at the front of the school.  Children will only be allowed to be collected by the person who normally collects them.   Parents will not be allowed to take their child home from the field.
Seats: Parents will be asked to collect their seat upon arrival where they will then be guided to the seating area and are asked to remain there for the duration of Sports Day. If you could please return your seat to the trolley on your way out that would be greatly appreciated.
  2. Seating Area: Parents must remain seated on the designated parents' side for the duration of the event. Please do not cross the track to speak to your child during the event. Parents will not be able to stand or sit at the end of the track because it may interfere with the races.
  3. Photography: You are welcome to take photos during the event. However, please be mindful of other children and ensure that your photography does not interfere with the activities.
  4. Coffee Van: Once again, we will have arranged for a Coffee Van on site so that you can purchase refreshments during the event.
We appreciate your cooperation in following these guidelines to ensure a safe and enjoyable Sports Day for everyone.
Thank you for your support and understanding. We look forward to a fantastic day of sports and fun!
