Another year, another brilliant Soup Share evening here at IVJS!
The children were fantastic and made some truly delicious soups for us to try, Year 3 made tomato soup, Year 4 made mushroom soup, Year 5 made pumpkin soup and Year 6 made some particularly good leek and potato soup (but I'm biased!).
The evening itself had a fantastic turnout, our school hall was chocka-block with hungry but very happy people! All the soups went down a treat and the children had some brilliant recipes to take home, even converting some of the fussiest eaters with them!
Thank you to everyone who attended and helped us with our Harvest Festival collection, all donations will be sent to the Slough Homeless Charity for distribution to those who need it most.
We would also like to thank our very own Mrs Witheridge who spent all day making sure the soups were perfect!
