This week we are going around the world in 5 days! We are aiming to virtually visit a different continent each day and have today visited New Zealand in Oceania, after first looking at a giant map of the World.
The children started their day with the Joe Wicks workout before embarking on a bit of arithmetic to get their brains going. This was then followed by some time outside and then they started to do some research on New Zealand. After another break outside, it was time for some cricket (after all, New Zealand does have a cricket team!) before writing some 'postcards' home from New Zealand. After lunch and some more time outside (it was such a lovely day), the children learnt how to do the traditional New Zealand haka and had a go at it themselves. The day finished with another game of cricket as they enjoyed it so much earlier in the day. Tomorrow we are off to Japan... Comments are closed.
