Our Year 6 students will be taking part in the Council's efforts to record heights and weights of select year groups, they have also been asked to take part in answering their health questionnaires. We have sent out two letters concerning these. If you wish for your child to be withdrawn from taking part in these, please notify the school as soon as possible.

Year 3 –have got to explore lots of different areas of maths using our numicon shapes and learning lots of exciting facts about animals to put in their leaflets. Year 4 – have explored The Gruffalo story, planning and writing our own stories about an imaginary monster! Year 5 – have been creating a persuasive leaflet to convince readers to come to the Galactic Quadrant. Year 6 – have been learning about dinosaurs and have made picture books and information pages about them. Click here for this week's full bulletin. With this year's PGL trip just round the corner, we are organising our 2016 trip for the current Year 5's.
Click here to view the full letter. Animal Edutainment will be visiting our school on Monday 14th and Tuesday 15th September. The children will be learning about how animals adapt to their environments and about the nutrition that different animals need. This visit will involve the showing and handling of live animals.
