In Maths, they have been working on short division and will be using their scaling skills to help them with the correct amount of ingredients for when they bake their healthy carrot muffins for the Family Maths Games Night. Year 5 – have explored soluble and insoluble materials by doing an experiment to see how they could separate various materials from water. They also jumped headfirst into multiplication and continued to take their journey through Ancient Greece! They took a little trip to Italy, as they used their garden tomatoes to make mini pizzas.
