It was Harvest Festival this week here at The Iver Village Schools and so many of you helped by donating food for The SHOC (Slough Homeless Our Concern) and The Slough Food Bank.
Our Year 6s spent Wednesday morning at St Peters Church in Iver High Street having carried all the donations down, ready to be distributed to the charities and the local community.
They were joined by children from the Infant School, making a very impressive procession through the high street, even stopping traffic to have the whole group cross the road!
Once at the church, everyone had a brilliant morning singing Harvest Festival songs and hearing about where the donations would be going to and how every item of food would be helping someone in need.
