This week in school…
Year 3 – have had an amazing Prehistoric Day to get them excited about their learning! They have been using their new Prehistoric knowledge to help them in Science, Humanities and even inspire them with their diary writing! Year 4 – have learnt all about the Stone Age on Prehistoric Day, particularly focusing on how people lived in the Bronze and Iron Age. During English, they have been writing a first person narrative about their lives in their chosen time period. Year 5 – have had a fantastic day Monday for Saxon Day which started their week and led on to them starting to write a newspaper report about their amazing adventure. In Maths they have been learning about negative numbers and rounding. Year 6 – have travelled back in time to learn about the Anglo Saxons. They went on a voyage, wrote like monks, made shields and designed villages, what a day! All of Year 6 really impressed everyone with their maturity in taking the 11+ tests. All the staff would like to wish all Year 6 a lovely weekend, they really deserve it! Click here for this week's bulletin.
